Windows 7 PRO on Notebook. Office 2007 Enterprise. Outlook is connected to an Exchange Server on an SBS 2003 platform. Has worked fine with no problems until yesterday. I can read e-mail that is currently in my InBox. When I go to "Send/Receive" or create a "New" e-mail I get the "outlook one or more parameter values are not valid". No new Hardware or Software installed. If I go to another Desktop on our network, I can see all of my current InBox, Create and Send new e-mail. When I go back to my Notebook, that InBox is updated with everything that was received on the XP box. I have Un-Installed Outlook and Re-Installed. Run Office Diagnostics. Run Repair InBox. Run Repair Office Installation. Nothing seems to work... Any ideas? Thank-you. -richard

James, Valiant try... but neither idea worked. I took the second idea, "outlook /cleanprofile", and checked NEW Profile, and created a new profile. That didn't work either. All my mail, contacts, Personal Folders (a little surprised at that one), etc were in the new Profile. Hmmm... maybe i just THINK there is a new profile? FYI, besides sending and receiving mail from my notebook, I cannot Add/Edit a Calendar event, BUT I can Add/Edit a Contact. I'm about ready to reformat the hard drive... Any more ideas? Your mail and contacts are in your mailbox so that's not surprising. The PST file being there is, though. Rich, I built a new desktop computer for myself. Installed a fresh copy of Windows 7 Pro 64-bit and the same Office 2007 Enterprise. I connected Outllok to my SBS2003 Server and all my Contacts, Inbox, Tasks, etc. showed up on the new conmputer from Exchange Server just fine. I set up my two POP3 e-mail accounts that were on my Notebook, and they work just fine on the new Desktop computer. All the mail that was setting out there on my POP3 Servers came in to Outlook. I am now able to Send and Receive e-mail properly, just as I could on my Notebook before it went sour. Life is good once again... but, the Notebook is still very sick. I am to the point of re-formatting the hard drive and reloading. Thanks for your help. Richard

I ran into this on an Outlook 2007 system on Win 7 Pro (32 bit) connected to an SBS 2008 server. Outlook would give the "One or more parameter values are not valid." message each time I tried to create a new email. It showed in other functions as well - but this was my testing function. I logged in as another user on the laptop and the problem did not exist, so it was clearly isolated to the user profile. I deleted the problematic user profile and recreated it and problem was solved.
